It's been a while!
It's been a while since I've made a proper post. Well, a while for me anyway, haha. Probably cos I've been going on the Internet less at work. (Cos 2pm keep making me laugh, but that's a different story for a different time!) Sorry if I haven't commented much on your journals f-list! It's mostly cos of the time difference. Nothing happens when I'm awake and there's like 40 entries when I wake up! Anyways, I thought I'd just do a small catch up on what I've been watching. Cos life is pretty much the same. Work, home, tv, funny random people and (expletive deleted) random people. I hate those last ones for all time!
This may get a bit long, I apologise! Warning: Much of me going all flaily over cuteness and cute guys, sorry. :P
I'm one episode away from the end of Thriller Bark, and while it did feel a bit long, I enjoyed it a lot! Mostly cos it brought us the wonderful Brook! :D BUT OH LORD, DID HIS BACKSTORY MAKE ME CRY! I was sobbing like a baby! It was just so sad, he was left with the dead bodies/skeletons of his friends, wondering around the ship all alone for so long! And the song! ;_; I won't be able to hear that song without becoming a little bit weepy! And it may be something to do with the two Excalibur graphic novels I read recently, but Brook kinda reminds me of Nightcrawler. Even though he looks scary to other people, he tries to make light of it, they're both very gentlemanly and nice people even though bad things have happened to them. Of course now, I love Brook even more cos Nightcrawler's my fave X-Man. I'M GOING OFF ON A TANGENT, I KNOW! And Zoro, taking the hit! Dude! This is why I love this manga/anime. Everyone's a damn badass.
I've watched a couple of J-Dramas since I last updated. Summer Snow, of course, which was friggin' depressing! :( Trick, which to be honest, I couldn't finish cos I got bored. Even though Abe Hiroshi was hilarious! It was a little too weird for me. I'm halfway through One Pound Gospel and I'm finding Kame to be very cute! :D I like hyperactive dorky characters! Plus, UCCHIE! :D And he's a lot more ripped than I expected!
I've started watching My Name is Kim Sam Soon, and I'm enjoying it a lot! I sympathise a lot with her. BUT DAMMIT, SHE IS NOT FAT! It irks me whenever they say that in the show! I was starting to find the main guy cute...
but then this guy came along and I'm sure all my attention will be on him. XD

Bones. Oh Bones. I seriously love this show. If I'm honest, the crimes and stuff only interest me when they're funny. I love these characters, I love how they interact with each other AND I LOVE YOU SEELY BOOTH! I love that there's a lovely, decent, chivalrous yet still manly man on TV. We've had too many dark dudes with problems or geeky dudes (whom I love, by the way) that only ever go out with the hot chick. To paraphrase Pride, Booth is a man from the last century. ^_^
The episode with him and his gramps made me all teary and made me love Booth even more!

I've caught up with Flashforward (which is on hiatus until my birthday, OMG) and I'm enjoying it. I won't lie, I think it could be better. But they're taking a long hiatus so that they can fix it and make it more exciting. I'll stick with it though. If I could stick with Lost through that horrible season 3 and part of season 4 mess, I can stick with this less confusing show. XD Reasons? Well, I wanna find out the mystery but also...

How I Met Your Mother has been a little lukewarm lately, but it's getting better now that Barney and Robin have broken up! :D (Don't kill me, I like single Barney better.)

Private Practice ended for the year on a bang (literally), Dell has gotten hotter since his Veronica Mars days. I know, that's not what I should've been focusing on, leave me! :P His story was really sad though, I felt for him! Pete was bang out of order, big time! And Sam! ♥ Another sweet, nice, normal guy on TV. I love that he's got his little flaws, and he's kinda shy and he's a nerd. Also helps that Taye Diggs has one of the most gorgeous smiles I've ever seen!
And lastly...
I've been ashamedly hooked on X-Factor this year, even though the talent was better last year. As I was typing this, the final three was decided and I'm glad! :D My favourite three! (I love Olly to bits!)
I've watched this movie four times since I've bought it! XD Which is good, it just means it's more brilliant than I originally thought! I like movies that you can watch more than once in a while. THERE IS A PICSPAM COMING SOON! :D
I'm quite excited/sad for Doctor Who, not too far away now! :D I've been avoiding spoilers cos I wanna be surprised. Given that I cry so easily these days, I'll probably cry at the end.
I mentioned earlier in this monster post that I'd been reading old Excalibur. Oh Kurt. ♥ Why isn't he in the comics more these days, being all dashingly charming and awesome!? I might have to read X-Men Forever. Say what you will, Claremont still writes the best Kurt. Fantastic Four is really interesting these days, as is X-Factor. I promised myself I wouldn't go into the mess that is regular canon Spider-Man, so I won't. ¬_¬
