In the entertainment world, however, everyone's excited about the Oscars. Once again, I'm amazed at America's dominance of global entertainment -- despite it's comparatively raunchy movies. The big story here yesterday was a Pakistani actress who's received death threats and been fined by Pakistani officials for kissing someone in a Bollywood flick. Their reasoning was that she was an "ambassador" of Pakistani culture abroad and could not behave "innappropriately".
And you thought the U.S. FCC was prude...
