In physics today I began to play calculator games since the first time since...well, high school....high school phsyics! I was definitely reverting back to my younger years, a time when my apathy for academics was at its peak. My physics professor is a really sweet guy who really wants to ensure that everyone in the class grasps the concepts, which invariably leads to explanations that last for 30 minutes for each problem. I don't know where he is from but when he says reciprocal, he pronounces it re-soap-cle.

So I sat there, did some biochem, talked to the guy that sits next to me for a while, played calculator games (duckhunt, yoshi, car racing etc etc), talked to my neighbor some more and after about 3 more games I look up to find hundreds of lines drawn across the board as my physics professor is trying to explain the concept of light going through a lens....and a few rays just weren't enough to fully illustrate the behavior of said light rays. So I turn back to my game and other class activities and look up about 20 minutes later to find the same drawing, with lines now drawn in every which way...

I have someone who is going to loan me new hip hop cds to burn/copy/listen to!! I feel like a recovering alchoholic about to take a sip of wine. Its an addiction that has not been fed in quite a long time....almost two years.
