"On a road trip with a friend, he once said to me something of the sort that in life, there's times that you just have to suck it all up and make some hard decisions. Hard Choices: they're just what life is about. When I think about it, it seems to me that when so many things are influencing your thoughts and your life, none of them really should. You just have to look deep inside yourself and make a choice.
Make up your mind from your heart - not because your best friends think so, not because your frat brother can relate, not because you saw a melodramatic tv show where a guy took a chance on a girl, or hell - not because you saw a stupid commercial advertising who-knows-what. Think about what really matters to you, what comes around and what doesn't, or what may never come around again in your life.
You’ve got an opportunity in front of you. I’d never ask anyone to “take it.” I’m just saying, "make it." Make a hard choice."
And this is what I have found. And what hard choice must I make? Mmmm a few that I know will come, and some that I am not ready for, but that will kinda sneak up. I think that I have done alright in the hard choice department so far...I mean...yeah.
