okay so like on thursday, i wake up to a text around 9ish, and its from latoya. we were texting for a bit and she was asking me if i wanted to go to this place called amoeba with her. to which i responded.."wtf is a amoeba??" and she said its like this huge as record store on hollywood and vine. so i freak out for a bit because we had only been talking for like exactly a week at this point and i was like..fuck! i dont wanna go, but then i figured i had to go because i wouldnt know what i was missing you know? so after going through the motions for like 20mins im like..yea..ima go.
so we meet infront of tha univ bookstore and i was with victoria, and she comes up and she is like "hey" and i said "hey latoya, this is my friend victoria, victoria this is latoya" and she was like hey, im latoya..but you prally knew that already.." i was like..uhm..no bitch. lol. but idk if she ment it like that
so then we go to the bus stop and at first she was SUPERR quiet. so i was prying, and trying to get her to talk. like all she would do is answer the questions i was asking her and then go back to being quiet, but then she finally loosend up when we go off of the bus..and started talking shit about my age! which was inevitable cuz, well, shes older. so i got the "ohh your a baby" and that whole thing. but she was cool about it. so then im thinking by this time " okay cool shes loose itll be great.." wrong. okay so like we get to amoeba (SHITS FUCKING HUGEEEEE!!!!) and she tells me we should split up so i can look at everything, which i thought was a good idea but..we aer together here..why would we split up? so we split and looked around tha wholee store by myself and we finally left after she bought some ish. (note: dont be broke when you go to amoeba) so then we walk around hollywood blvd. while hearing her accuse me of not really being down with tarentino..JUST BECAUSE I HAVENT FUCKIN SEEN PULP FICTION! jerk. lol
so she had been complaining the whole day about getting a drink and so we find this little seedy bar, and it was really nice and simple;candles on every table and one huge like bar table in the middle of the place with candle also. so latoya asks me if i want something to drink and she gets it. so while im waiting, some dude dressed up as the main pirate from pirates of the carribean comes up to me and he is all " you know i like me some chocolate right?" and i was like..."smiles....?" and the he continues, "oh, i think ima haveta take you home with me.."...?"noo...no you dont," smiles again. and then latoya comes over and smiles and says "yea, shes beautiful huh?"

i fucking died! she totally just made me forget about how disgusting that douche bag was. iono if she knows, but that made my day. and like after that i was all smiles. we hd a great convo while we had our drinks. she wrote this analysis in prop 8 that i thinks is fucking amazing. chick blows my mind. the ppr is basically about how prop 8 really isnt inclusive to women of color. and most ppl that compare the struggle for equality in marriage to the civil rights movement say that "we are the last discriminated against group"...uhm. NO THE FUCK YOUR NOT. because after you get your rights..what of ppl of color? are theyre problems with discrimination gonna just go out the window. fudge. blows my mind.
so yea. that day was amazing and, i think i like her. like..she is so fucking spiritual and just..awesome. but she is going to grad school and she isnt gonna be out here for long, but at least she will be in my life hopefully.
SOOO in bacck in lb and me,billy,cami,BRANDON, austin and edgar went to le boy bar. it was hella fun. i havent had that much fun at b.bar in many a moon. ppl talking shit on tha fucking screen. this one idiot put "lets all get 'KRUNK' tonight. lb style!!!!" to which i was forced to reply "wtf is krunk?" lmmfao! gah. who the eff says that ish anymore. no bueno pues. and all of us are supposed to be going to rage on thursday i hope. again, havent been there in many a moon.( since my 18th i think )
