Ahh, better now. But my toe started bleeding after I jammed it REALLY HARD into my parent's bedpost when I was pacing their room trying out lines. ("Are you... counting in French?" "Something like that, I guess... um, sort of, that is, I mean, yes.")

The scene that popped into my head. They're tied to a telephone pole on a country road in the middle of a vacant field by their classmates on April Fool's Day and talk about what keeps them from thinking about what they'll do when her dad finds them. (Because he will. Murphy's Law. Plus he's the sheriff and has to drive by every so often.)
