Have not posted in a while
Ok, I have not posted in a while, been busy, plus had sick kids for a while, which is not that much fun. Started off with Kyle getting the stomach flu, had about a week of that, then Natalie started getting a nasty cough, so we took her in to the doctor and found out she had RSV but luckily not pneumonia. So we had to get an in-home nebulizer machine to give her breathing treatments twice a day, which is hard, the treatments last 10 minutes and having her sit there with a mask on for that long is hard. We have found if we sing Itsy Bitsy Spider, she will sit still for a bit. But if you stop singing it, she will get antsy again. Not fun. We have to continue those for another week, and then she has to get rechecked again.
Natalie just had her 6 month appointment, she is getting so big, good thing was that she did not cry while getting her shots. Chris took her, and said she started to scrunch up and cry, but he soothed her before she cried. She is sitting up by herself now, she has been sitting up for a while, but would tip over after a little bit, now she is doing much better. She is a good eater too, we have gone through all the vegetables and are now on fruits. She gets one of each a day along with cereal. I have to go through her closet soon and get rid of the clothes that dont fit, she is in 6-12 month clothing, depending. All her tops need to be bigger because like Kyle she has a long torso.
Stayed home all of the past weekend due to the crappy weather outside. Plus we had to dig out our driveway, right now we have one lane in our driveway cleared out. Chris said he will get more dug out tonight, he got stuck this morning, which is funny, because the side that is plowed out is the side his car is on. I did not get stuck. So I had to laugh that he did. Plus he wants a new snowblower. The one we have was his dad's and is 20 years old, so this weekend he will probably get to go get his new snowblower.
We are hoping to work on the basement again this weekend. I dont have much to do down there right now until it comes time to prime and paint, then I will have lots to do. Probably going to do a tan in the family room and in the spare bedroom/toy room, probably a darker blue in the other spare bedroom and a cinnamon/orange color in the bathroom. I will pick out the colors once it gets closer to painting time. Depends on how much time we get to work on it, we have a lot coming up. We are going on a mini trip just Chris and I in a couple weeks, the kids get to stay with my sister.
