Hooray For Fall!!!
It's about damn time fall actually got here. I have been desperate to wear a jacket for months. I don't know what it is about this time of year that I love. Maybe it's the fact that with the exception of one particularly nasty October a couple years ago, so many of my good memories involve autumn.
This ones has been particularly nice. I had a rip roaring good time on my birthday, and I've been working the haunted trail and have gotten to see certain friends more in the past two weeks than I had in the past two years.
Fall also makes me a little nostalgic. I think my age is making me nostalgic as well. I am now closer to thirty than twenty, and I'm looking back, not because I'd change anything or because I want to re live it, but looking back and hoping I enjoyed my twenties enough. Which is not to say that I feel old, I'm am certainly not old, but I have a new decade approaching, and I don't want to leave this one full of regrets. My only regret so far is that I did'nt realize it would all go so fast.
Well, best to face the future, and the Jaycee meeting agenda I've been stalling on.
