Im going to have to say i agree with this person who commented with this comment in your journal earlier.....
I have to admit that this is the first time that I have ever read one of these on-line journal things and I will never do so again. Not knowing you I can't judge that much but I have a few comments for you to possibly ponder...
~Unless you got a lot of gift certificates for Christmas why are you shopping so much? Are you not appritiative of what those who love you gave you? And despite whether they gave you matterial possessions or not do you realize the true gift they have given you, their love and support, just being able to be with them spend time with them during this time of the year and each and every day you are with them? Maybe you should think about your priorities and what truly matters. What truly makes someone rich? Just some things to think about because reading what I did I question your priorities and whether you may look back and regret them later on. ~So is your fashion advice for people really what you are proud of offering for people? Isn't there things that a person should feel like they offer beyond what all the magazines out there already offer? Again I am curious about what you truly think about yourself and value in yourself. Then to expand that thought, if you do value more important things do you actually live that and put that into action? ~One more pointless thought... how can your plan possibly be flawless if you are posting it on the internet for anyone out there to read? I'm sure it would only take one person to suggest to them to take a look at what you are really doing. As you can see, not a fan of this on-line journal thing, maybe the old fashion way is really the better way of doing it.
Well just a few thoughts from an outsider but if you decide to take the time to think some of these things through don't forget to ask yourself if you actually put your morals and values into action or if the what you think and how you act contradict one another.
First, I'd like to ask if anyone can define the word appritiative for me. Because I'm pretty sure it isn't one..
Anyway. On to the fact that everyone goes shopping after Christmas. Haven't you noticed the stores are mobbed? And it is, in fact, because they did get certificates. And money so hmm, why not spend it? I think anonymous commenters are absolutely ridiculous. Who is so bored that they go on some stranger's journal and leave a comment bashing what they did in their spare time? I mean, at least make it a little worthwhile and critique something other than, "I went shopping." And did you miss the point where she said she took the belgian girl shopping? I'm pretty sure I'd like to buy some things to take home if I was in a different country too.
Last time I checked, shopping after Christmas wasn't a big deal. So stop making it one.
