One memory that just suddenly popped out at me was seeing Slayer on election day in 2004. Despite Bush winning a second term, it was an awesome day. There were a few people with homemade shirts reading "I voted for SLAYER!". All around the city you could shout "SLAYER!" into random buildings or streets, and someone would shout it back, or the other way around. During each solo you'd see many people stop headbanging to get the best view they can, following with yelling and highfives before going back to bangin.
Work work work. This weekend is all about thrashin and grindin though.
