Tighten your shoelaces and get ready.

My icons were picked by casett (who makes spectacular icons herself) and are behind the cut.
John Sheppard of Stargate Atlantis, my favorite character to whump. This was one of my very early icons, made before I bought "grown up" photo manipulating software. It turned out very well, I think, and has been in the line-up ever since. It's perfect for when I or someone I'm commenting to (on?) are having a crappy day, or when posting a nice whumping piece of fic.
The Flashpoint boys, concentrating on Ed, my favorite. I love that show: the teaminess, the action, the fact that it shows Canadians as being just as screwed up as their neighbors to the south. Sadly, it doesn't get used often, but I'm reluctant to pull it from circulation.
Camerson Mitchell of Stargate SG1 fame; who was not Jack O'Neill, but I liked his character anyway. I like this icon because it was unexpected. When I was "messing" (a technical term) with the background I was surprised when the whole thing ended up looking like something out of a dream sequence (or drug trip), with the door and Mitchell appearing out of mist. Mostly just a general use icon.
Aeryn Sun of Farscape (not Vala Mal Doran of Stargate SG1 - completely different women), caught in mid-eyeroll over some odd thing John Crichton has done... again. I miss Farscape and Aeryn's strong character; she and Crichton led each other a merry chase. Mostly used when talking about Farscape or women in sci-fi.
All those pictures friends and family always email you: cute animals, that guy who draws on sidewalks, the cello-tape sculptures, etc? I always feel a bit guilty just deleting them, and then I started making icons. I had received this photo several times as part of a group of optical illusions and made several into icons (including my header and default icon). It's a good general use icon.
