Yay, I'm first....so far. All I can say is yay for the kid gloves on the ground. Maddison is sickingly cute and I love it. Greatness again...of and Melana is coming to town. Sweet!
As soon as she grabbed her side in the locker room I thought "uh oh". Poor Callie, the girl has been to hell and back several times. The kid gloves are off for Alex...and I'm pretty sure they're off for Mark and Addison too. They're all sick of having to save her life. Callie has never known fear before, but I think she'll have an intimate relationship with it once she gets better because those three are going to read her ass the riot act.
This story makes me not hate George so much (because I really hate him after last night's episode). I actually like the idea of them being friends.
I was originally going to have it hit her all at once, but it's worse that she had the symptoms and ignored them. That's what she does. She's a chronic observer of everything around her ... but not herself. She's oblivious to her own needs.
I cannot BELIEVE that George didn't at least HUG her when she was crying on the show. That little tree elf needs a beat down.
UGH!
HUGS!
I'm sick so I need some fic, kay? PS, that's me playing you for sympathy fic in case I was too vague.
I know! I so wanted to choke the life out of him for that. It's like he doesn't care about her at all. How could you just stand there watching your wife cry and not even try to do something to comfort her? Hell, he didn't even bother to ask her what was wrong. The Hobbit must suffer.
...and you'll be happy to know I'm writing right now. I'm going for a midnight deadline--keep your fingers crossed. I'm thinking about breaking this up into two chapters...it's getting long.
Callie's sick again. She's definitely gonna hear it when she gets better. I do like that George and Callie are being friendly with each other. I really don't know how I feel bout them at all anymore b/c of the show. George was my favorite character in until Callie came on and now every time I see him I want to scream. Ok enough about the show. LOVE this chapter. Her parents are on their way. I'm excited (maybe not the best word) to see their reaction to Callie's illness and everything. I like how you write them. MORE MORE MORE!!! please? :-)
Sooooo many people have been asking me to address her eating issues and this is it. She hasn't been taking care of herself at *all* so she gets her ass handed to her. Because she's *dumb*.
Her parents are going to *not* be so kind this time. They're tired of her being so lackadaisical about her life.
I'm glad you liked it. I'm all about the angst. :)
Another great update! Love, love, love the locker room scene, and the fact that George and Callie can be friends now, and that she's forgiven him. That will speed her physical recovery for sure.
I figured Callie wasn't out of the woods yet. I'm glad Alex is going to take off the kid gloves with her. He's man enough to handle it.
Alex is going to be *so* pissed. And he'll be torn by whether or not to comfort her or throttle her because she just doesn't want to hear it. She won't take responsibility which will drive him up the wall. And Addison? Oh my god, y'all will that she has a temper to match her hair.
Callie needs a wake up call. Stat. She's oblivious to her body and her needs.
