Two parts due to length
( He made it. He managed not to kill anyone driving himself to Seattle Grace Hospital. The cab of the truck reeked of blood and sulpher; John had tussled with a shadow demon and lived to tell the tale. Barely. It had got him on the right shoulder and the slashes continued to his right pectoral muscle but luckily not so deeply to have cut into muscle. He’s lost a lot of blood though and is feeling as though he had a tequila night with Caleb. Everything looks as though it’s underwater. Taking a deep breath he stumbles from the truck and heads through the emergency entrance. A young male doctor with big doe eyes spots John, orders are shouted and John is manhandled onto a gurney. Hands are on him searching, scissors cutting cloth. John’s eyes are closed but he hears an intake of breath and he opens them again. Doe-eyed doctor is staring at his face like he’s seen a ghost. )
