Author's note: When I started this fic, this was the chapter that inspired it all. I loved the Arizona and Nick dynamic. It makes me sad that the story arc was overshadowed by the season finale. It irks me that they never gave us any finality to the storyline and enrages me that Shonda is so dismissive of it. Her explanation on twitter was "he died", as if it that's good enough. It's not. Thank goodness for fanfiction!
