Summary:As promised, Derek builds Meredith her house of candles. Their departure spurs April and Jackson to move on, leaving Alex and Lexie alone in the House For Wayward Interns. After an inevitable hook-up occurs following plenty of alcohol and a particularly tough day for Alex, he switches back into Evilspawn mode and makes his way through a procession of random females. In the months and years that pass Alex and Lexie battle against themselves and, even more so, each other, in a cycle that sees them perpetually push apart before drawing back together again.
