This was so good and so sad! I completely believe that this is how Alex would/will react, he would blame himself. As much as I hate this storyline, I do hope that it turns out to be as much about Alex as Izzie. You write Alex so well - great job!

PHEW! I'm so glad you liked it.

I hated the thought of submitting this as a secret santa fic but seriously, everytime I tried to write a nice, happy, holiday-ish fic it crashed and burned! One even started out okay, with Alex trying to find Izzie the perfect gift by sneakily trying to get advice from all the other doctors but by the time I'd finished it Izzie was dead and Alex never got the opportunity to give her the gift he bought! Geez, what is wrong with me?!!!
