New Moderator (and two additional reminders)
The mods here at ga_fanfic are looking for one more person to join our little family and help out around here. We are looking specifically for someone who is an active member in the community as an author or commenter (both would be preferable though) and has a good amount of time on their hands to deal with mod-ly duties. Please send an email to ga.fanfic@gmail.com with “Co-Moderator” in the subject line and let us know why you think you’d make a good moderator. If you want to apply, you have until next Monday at 12:00noon Eastern Standard Time. From there, we’ll go over the applications and make our selection. We look forward to hearing from those of you who are interested. :)

Warnings. Warnings are only for things that are “triggering,” such as rape, abuse, death, excessive violence, etc. Do not provide a warning unless it’s something incredibly affecting, please.
Disclaimers. Some of the disclaimers we’ve been seeing lately are starting to slack off and become a little half-assed. What would be most helpful to us? If you have a disclaimer elsewhere (in a fic community or in your profile or in some entry floating in your journal) either don’t provide one in your ga_fanfic entry linking to your fic or provide the same exact disclaimer that you provided in its original place. Bottom line: use a real disclaimer or don’t use one at all if your post is coming from somewhere else and you already have a disclaimer in place. Choosing not to do cutesy disclaimers that ultimately aren’t legit disclaimers would make things tremendously easier on us.
