I'm A Homewrecker.

It was a Saturday afternoon. The day was sunny then; now, as I write, it has dark clouds gathered and looks like it is going to rain any moment.

My Mum had just returned from a little grocery shopping trip around the neighbourhood. With her were lots and lots of plastic bags, mostly carrying food of all sorts. She washed the just-purchased longans and gave them to me in a big bowl. She knows I am a sucker for longans. I can probably have a whole meal based just on longans and be full and contented with it. I took them to the living room to eat, along with a plastic bag for clearing the seeds and skins.

There, I noticed some activity on the table. It was an army of small ants feeding on a puddle of water, probably the chrysanthemum tea that I had drank and accidentally left some dripping over the straw. I headed to the kitchen, took the wet cloth, and in a single sweep, I got rid of them all.

The world can be sucha bitch sometimes.
