Merry Christmas................................Jive Turkey!!!!
Well...... my parents and I finally started-and-finished decorating our x-mas tree and the rest of the house tonight. I know, I know.... it's like 3 days till Christmas and we waited until now to do it.....however this Christmas is destined to be a great one...I just know it... Why do I know it you ask?? Cause in choosing the appropriate mood-setting music we didn't go the "conformist" route with the same ole tired-out x-mas tunes....no.......not us.... not this year..... This year we opted for some Isaac Hayes's Shaft Soundtrack!!! Beliedat!!! AND..to top it off, I wore a huge afro wig the entire time.
I tell ya, there's nothing like your mom picking up an ornament with your picture on it with you giving your best salute all decked out in your Super-Fagoriffic cubscout uniform and saying "Awwwww look at you....isn't that cute" while hearing, as if on cue, "Who's the black private DICK that's a SEX machine to all the chicks?!!---SHAFT!!!----Can ya dig it??!!" OR.... your Dad saying "I think it would look better if we put the green balls here",,with Mr. Hayes agreeing to, "You're DAAAAMMMNNNN RIGHT!!".
