Yes, and I'm going to be walking distance from the Presidential Library that is being built in his "honor" at SMU. It turns my stomach. Why couldn't we get a library for a President that is respected?

I am so very happy with the election results, but I'm doing my best to not appear as overjoyed as I feel when I'm around Republican friends, family, and co-workers; a consideration they never extended to me. Seriously, I had to put up with a LOT of gloating and personal insults. And I never started any of the discussions.

I hope that if we don't gloat, maybe, just maybe, some of this divisiveness can give way to more understanding and communication about ideas that are important to everyone.

I also hope that people don't have completely crazy expectations of Obama. He's not a messiah, he's not going to be perfect, and he can't fix everything that's wrong with the economy, and our international standing with the wave of his hand. Some things may actually get worse before they get better.

January 20th is my birthday. What a great gift it will be to see W leave and Obama begin.

Putting "George W. Bush" and "library" together seems oxymoronic, doesn't it?
