((yes, this took place at, like, four this morning. Deal))

I'm in love
with the world
Through the eyes
Of a girl
Who's still around

There was one thing that set Cluster Headaches apart from traditional migraines. They occured like clockwork, often in the middle of the night, waking the sufferer.

As was the case with Spinner.

But, with a slight bit of understanding and expectancy, it could be overcome.

At four in the morning, as the headache set in, Spinner's instincts took over, and his hand fumbled for the inhaler as he sat up.

He let out a shaky breath, and took a deep breath to counteract it. He paused for a moment, and then repeated the process. Another pause, and he did it a third time.

Sucess. The headache was aborted, and his vison cleared.

He rolled over, and caught sight of Marco, sprawled across a plastic chair. He didn't look too comfortable.

Spinner wasn't held to his bed by any IVs or other medical machinery. He pushed back his blanket, rolled to his feet (it took him a moment to steady himself), and went to the chair.

He carefully lifted Marco from the chair, placed him in the bed, and pulled the blanket over him.

With a sigh, Spinner lowered himself back to the bed, on top of the blanket, and put an arm around Marco's waist.

For the first time in four or so days, Spinner fell back asleep naturally, comfortably, only about eight minutes after the headache awoke him.
