Today is a beautiful day. I rode my bike to school for the first time this year and it seemed to put me in a very good mood. I hope it stays warm and all of the snow melts. I am in the process of building an ice sailboat which requires Ada Hayden to be frozen so I guess my feelings on the weather are conflicted. I have built the frame and the steering device, but I'm unsure how to make the sail. Canvas or a bed sheet or something.
My mood over the last few months has been pretty good. I think I am realizing that I won't be in Ames much longer or with any of my friends and I just want to be happy all of the time. I am excited for the musical this weekend. A lot of cool people are in it and I heard Jacob Pleasants gets to kiss a girl.
Espada Rosada wrote a new song last weekend. It was a whole band project and it turned out pretty cool. However, having the whole band write a song is an inefficient and difficult method and there was a lot of arguing. I am sad that Espada Rosada will be breaking up after high school. There is no logical way that it could work in college but it still sucks. Maybe all four of us will join a new band at our respective universities and then all meet up again in the summer with our new bands and put on a show. That would be ultimate.
It seems that there has been more tension in the atmosphere lately. No one seems to be satisfied with anyone anymore. There has been more insults behind peoples back lately than ever before. I appreciate people who take life as it comes and help people out when they can.
