Here it comes...
Okay. I got in here this evening expecting to be able to get the normal bunch of catch-up done. Nup. Not tonight. The boss is here, and we're expecting to be getting the first bunch of paperwork for inactive call-ups tomorrow afternoon.
SO. I'm doing calculations on the ones that need it tonight, and will have to be in here tomorrow to do orders. There are 11 so far that we have the word are going right now, and that's out of a list that's gone from 35 to 100 overnight. Two of the other HR Specialists are going to be in tomorrow, too. That's half of our group, and 3/4 of our trained ones. The two trainees couldn't get the stuff done that we need to do, so we're not calling them in.
Anyway, I'm going to have some pretty limited availabilty for the next short while, it looks like. Don't know how long yet, because I don't know how quickly they're going to be getting paperwork to us. Hoping that this doesn't mean longer hours during the week, but who really knows at this point.
