What the HELL, Microsoft?!
Okay... I've been going batty trying to figure out the word count for a drabble -- in PocketWord on the handheld AND in Word on the main computer, it kept saying it was 3 words more than a manual count came up with. 100 vs. 103.
I broke it down by sentences until I could find the ones that didn't match up count-wise, and finally found out what it was.
Did you realize that -- (that's the two-hyphen punctuation mark that is an em-dash in plain text, by the way) is a word according to MS Word?!
