Yay! It's finally delivered! (Now we just have to wait another two hours (and about 10 minutes?) before we can leave work and go pick it up...) [ETA: and not even that -- it was delivered to the rental office and they're closed. *whine* We have to wait till tomorrow night.]
Now... I wouldn't really be so annoyed at the time it took to get here, if it weren't for the past day worth. I get the fact that it takes a bit to drive a truck from Washington (state) to Maryland! But... Under the cut are the entries in the tracker for the info once it arrived in Maryland:
06/28/07
15:44 [hometown], MD US Delivered
06/28/07
05:12 [hometown], MD US Out for delivery
06/28/07
01:00 [hometown], MD US Arrival scan
06/28/07
00:28 Laurel, MD US Departure scan
06/27/07
15:33 Laurel, MD US Location scan
06/27/07
12:23 Laurel, MD US Arrival scan
So... from 12:23 on the 27th to when it was delivered at 15:44 (3:44pm) on 6/28/07, it's been less than 30 miles away. It took 15 hours and 21 minutes to go less than 30 miles! ARGH!
And note that it took over 10 hours to be delivered, when the big UPS hub is less than 10 miles from the apartment complex...
I hate UPS...
I hope stuff isn't all melty...
