Better The 2nd Time Around?
Second entry, hahaha. If it weren't for the reason that this would help me exercise my writing, I'd probably be watching TV. They say money is the root of all evil, I say TV is the root of idleness. For all the couch potatoes out there, don't watch more than 3 hours of TV a day, even if it's the sembreak. Watching TV without the watching part is just like sitting and letting your brain waste away. In the words of the fugly john mayer, leave the great indoors.
Anyway, I've decided to list down my goals for the near future just in case I become too lazy to do anything about them.
On the top of the list, and probably the most feasible, is to finish my novel. I've only written 2 pages, but whatever right? Just keep on writing. Well i don't wanna give a lot of details, (mind you although I've only written 2 pages, I have a detailed outline) but all i can say is that it's set in 19th century Philippines. I've actually been thinking of having a story within a story, thanks to Mandy's Solitaire Mystery.
Next is music. I'm going to take piano again next week, and hopefully i can continue after the sembreak. Anyhow, all this is really for my "start-up capital" for a band. I could probably form one right now, but Im a very lazy and picky man. So whoever's interested just let me know, hahaha. Right now I'm into 90's rock (Gin Blossoms, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Dakota Moon and similar bands) and whatever that sounds nice. I wanna mix rock, jazz, and blues if that's possible.
Probably one of my most short-term goals: Soccer. I don't have shoes yet and I haven't played since last summer (I scored a goal by the way and stopped like about 3 attempts as a goalie). Well, i just hope i can play by this Sunday and i can go to the gym for this sem.
Last one is having a business. Haha, that's about all i can write about it. All I know is that I wanna have a business that gives people jobs or at least helps them with their businesses. Hopefully I'll figure it out in the next year or so.
I'm not sure if I can consider this a goal because it sounds hilarious, but I've been thinking of lending my voice for radio ads or whatever. I have a friend who has been in numerous ads and has earned a considerable amount of money (for my financial level at least, haha). I'm not sure about all this, but I have made people laugh with my limited arsenal of accents(wasup speples? haha i miss the good ol' colayco-evsem-caroling days).
I just noticed that once again, the title has almost no relation to the content. Hahaha, I should start writing first before putting down the title.
