Yay

So I went to go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory yesterday and, damn was it good. I was a bit iffy with a remake but it was really great. I thought the other kids needed more character development but all in all it was very Tim Burton. What I liked the best is that it drew out all the spooky goth kids all in one night. It was funny watching a mob of goth kids walk past the mall "regulars". There's something about watching "regulars" squirm that makes me smile inside. So we go in and the lid of the soda that I bought for like $5.75 wasn't on all the way and it popped off as I was tipping it towards me, spilling a bunch of it all over my shirt. AMC hates me. Big cheers for the "Corpse Bride" trailer. Because what better way to tackle the sticky taboo of necrophelia than with an animated childrens movie. I kid, I kid, I've been a Burton fan since Pee Wee's Big Adventure, hell, I even liked Planet of the Apes until just before the ending. Corpse Bride looks awesomely Burtonesq. So coincidentally the bookstore is right next to the AMC and coincidentally the new Harry Potter book came out about the same time as we left the theater. and coincidentally my sister is a huge Harry Potter fan and came to see the movie with us. We went in to the Barnes & Noble a bit early and off in a far corner of the store there was a guy selling the book a bit early. Leaking the book if you will. I thought he looked familiar.
