I am looking into somehow getting one of these three mandolins, hopefully used:

Big Muddy:
Also just because I'm always curious about other people's takes on instruments, which one do you like? It's subjective of course...and they will sound different just because of the different musicians, different video quality, acoustics of the rooms, strings, etc...but it's fun to compare. I think one of the reasons I always spend so long thinking about what type of instrument to play is that I really like the learning process that goes along with it. When I bought my fiddle, I learned so much more about string instruments than I'd previously known, and now I know way more about mandolins than I knew a week ago...
