Having plowed the driveway and shoveled walks from the deck to the path, path to the gate, gate to Chelsea's, Chelsea's to the front door, and the front door, I sat down to write the agenda for January's council meeting at church. The phone rang and it was Sossi from school. A parent called her as I was leaving (at a quickened pace, having overheard "hello, Mrs. J..")and is upset that her child hasn't completed the requirements to earn a credit for sociology. She was given double opportunity (allowed to leave another class to work online, as this is an online course) to finish and is working painfully slow towards completion. She won't be taking the second semester online and was going to switch to Spanish. Apparently Dad wants to choose a foreign language for his cherub, fine I say (like Henry Ford) You can take any language you want, as long as it is Spanish (we offer no other). I guess I will be speaking with her tomorrow. Now I must go "process" the vegetable matter (secured from a local grocer after numerous attempts)into bunny food. Nine young bunnies are doing well though I worry with this cold snap if they will be warm enough. M wants to move momma bunny (dandy) into a hutch as we think she might have yet another litter soon. Males are bunking with males, momma is alone and the girls are together. Except for the 6 babies, they all bunk in a single hutch together for now (later we'll segregate to prevent incestuous mutants). They will be eating good for the next few days at least. Later!
