(no subject)
Big storm last night send our black lab scurrying behind the couch. She won't get up on any furniture when the lightning is rolling and looks for places without windows. The other day she was outside for her morning potty break when lightning struck. For the last three mornings she won't go outside while it is still dark. These storms are hard on her but we try to help with little doggy downers. She doesn't pant or shake as much when she's a tripping labrador. It would take a very large dose to completely knock her out calm her down. There used to be another medicine taking dog in the family, a long time ago.
Boy is playing with his cousin. It is nice that he has someone to play with, even if he's in Ann Arbor. Z-Box 180 is a fairly cool system. Halo 14 is a totally cool game. Slayer allows you to kill people from around the globe, cooperative play allows you to gang up against the bad guys. I have 4 achievements and 75 gamer points (nothing to brag about when you see other people's tallies). The system is great on a day like today.
Been working on the motorized equipment. Tuned up the 75 and got the mower running (new blades, belt and a major cleaning) that we bought from a friend's dad. Da udder bit da dusk.
I remember when 40 degrees felt like taking off the coat. Today 40 was just plain cold.
I do have things to bitch about but I just don't feel like going there, people are people everywhere you go and they always have a few that
a. take advantage of the system
b. take advantage of you
c. are stupid
d. are narcissistic (and therefore can't understand why you aren't taking care of their problems)
e. fill in your choice here
f. all of the above
