It's been a long, long, long, loooong time!
Yes, as this entry title says, it's been forever since I last posted anything here or even checked Livejournal. In the past 10 years I migrated towards other social media platforms and blogs (like Tumblr) and also, I decided to study again.
In 2014 I enrolled in a tertiary career: Editorial Graphic Design and in 2015 I took a Professional Webmaster intensive course and have been trying to find work at advertising/design agencies (which hasn't been easy so far). Since I've had no luck and I'm aware that I need to keep on practising my skills I decided on changing my old LJ the layout since it has looked the same for so many years.
The original layout is by estiloamor and can be found here. I changed many things acording to what I wanted it to look like through custom css. Got some new tiny icons from Icomoon too and the header image is by shootmypicture if I'm not mistaken (not very sure because I also got a couple more by spooky_window and boundary). I've added a link to my Behance portfolio (in the main navigation header) and my Tumblr Portfolio found at the top (side)bar.
I've checked some old posts and realized that a lot of images that had been uploaded to Imageshack are no longer available and unfortunately I've lost them (a plague on both your houses Imageshack!!). Nevertheless I think I still have copies of everything on CD-R (icons, headers, wallpapers, banners, etc) and if possible will try to upload them to Photobucket and update them; though I've also seen many broken links from that site too.
Also have been looking around livejournal and many of the blogs and communities I used to check often are no longer updated or image links are broken too. I kind of miss the good old times at LJ when everything was brand new... probably no one besides George R.R. Martin updates their journals anymore, it's kind of a shame.
