FUCK YANNI CONCERTS - my week abridged.

Dec 19, 2004 16:25

So, a series of annoying events plagued my week. I did survive with just about -that- much more experience so that was good. Crap, I find myself wanting to list things again...must resist.....fuck it, Ima make a list:

1. Ate chinese food 3 days in a row and felt a little sick. It was probably from the chicken (or was it chicken...?) that I ate over at some midtown restaurant.

2. Saw Ocean's 12 and found myself laughing for no apparant reason during the Eddie Izzard scene. After the movie, I thought to myself: "hey...I fucking hated that movie!"

3. Got my PSAT scores back and was impressed at how well I did in math and depressed at how incompetent everything else was. I still got off with a 90 percentile rank due completely to my math score whoohoo!!!

4. Had to endure my parents starting a scene in the midst of a packed restaurant. I had to agree with them that the service was so bad that it wouldn't have made any difference if the 10 waiters and the 1 manager were present or not. It took them 20 minutes to get us our menues, it took them another 10 to get us water and take our order, and then an extra hour for them to actually their food to us. My mom got up and started yelling with reckless abandon at the poor waiter who just looked a little confused. The manager eventually allowed us to have to meal for free. DUDE!!!

5. Had a very funny dream about becoming a neuromancer and wandering cyberspace. In it, I ran directly into one of those "page not found" screens and found myself stuck in an endless field of whiteness.

6. Saw my girlfriend a record of 4 times in a week...3 if you don't count talking for 5 hours straight.

7. Witnessed what would happen to a white man who walks down the streets of harlem naked with a gigantic billboard reading: I HATE NIGGERS. It was a good movie, too. It had Jeremy Irons in it - his rendition of a neo-nazi non-skin head was very entertaining.

So people, the moral of this week is: don't go to Yanni concerts. Yes, that's right. Yanni concerts = no no.
