Description: There are a lot of interconnected things in this piece. I think everyone has watched The Gothowitz Deviation. So a few days back, I was hanging around in deviantart.com (a little pun there, unintended from the title) and PetrovIvanMartin of DA was suggesting I do a pic of the gang cosplaying as anime characters he saw my Big Bang League fanart. Then I watched episode 3 again and came up with this--a combination of Death Note and Big Bang Theory! Another interconnection? The Gothowitz Deviation is the first episode where we see Sheldon and co watching anime!
I had a real tough time with the lighting and coloring because the light source is...different. Sorry if they appear creepy :P
To those who don't know about the anime, you may go to the wiki article here. It's the most intelligent anime I've ever seen! Here's also a picture of the Death Note characters. And of course, some of you already know I cosplayed Amane Misa. haha, gotta love this anime!
To those who know, Sheldon really reminds me of the show's antagonist/protagonist Light Yagami, him being smart, calculating and ambitious. Leonard is SOOO not 'L' but I couldn't find anyone else he'd portray in this image (he's more like Mikami Teru, who knuckles under 'Kira') plus Leonard's not as smart as 'L'. If anything, 'L' reminds me like Sheldon too, with his quirks and stuff. Then of course, there's Amane Misa, the blonde love interest of Light Yagami (at times 'L') though Penny isn't as ditzy as she is :P...except maybe in episode 3. Now for Howard and Raj, I had them depicting the death gods (shinigami) Ryuk and Rem respectively. Sorry if Howard didn't turn out so hot LOL. Raj did I think :P (here's a slash Ryuk/Rem fanart, which I used as the basis. Remind you of anyone in the show? LOL!)
This is my excuse to draw Sheldon with a smirk and goth Howard and Raj at the same time LOL. Not to mention the hand feeding!
