The Emmys - S/P Art
I actually didn't do this for the Emmys, but I might as well have. Think of this as a multi-purpose art.
This one is actually one of the two consolidated requests fanart requests of the participants of the S/P Scavenger Hunt Contest. They wanted a scene from elsiesnuffin's fic, "Wanted: Roommate, Normal Need Not Apply" Here's the snippet:
There, in the Emmy coverage of ‘Variety’ was a picture of he and Penny from the previous evening‘s red carpet. It was one he had clearly not been aware of at the time.
The photograph showed Penny, in all her glory, as she beamed at someone off-camera. But his stomach dropped when he glanced at himself. He stood, smiling happily down at her, his eyes decidedly moony-looking.
No.
He looked like a man completely smitten.
Sheldon felt as if he might be sick.

That's the main purpose. Second purpose of this is of course, a tribute to Jim Parsons, wishing him luck for tomorrow's Emmy awards! :D I can only hope Kaley will be his Emmy date...sigh, a girl can dream, right?
On to the pictures!
I think this is the handsomest I've done of Sheldon thus far, and the prettiest I've done of Penny, and the first KINDA Jim/Kaley fanart I've ever done too! Like I said, this is multi-purpose! I also played around with the coloring style. I'm practicing Vector colors. Not yet an expert though. I really hope you like this :D BEST OF LUCK JIM!!!
Oh, and on a different note, I have a Work in Progress here. For our Freehand Drawing class, our instructor gave us a bring home exams: Draw a doorknob with a newspaper clipping. Normally, we would have something to look at, as in for Still Life drawing but since this is take home, I could pretty much do what I want. This comes with no reference image, it's all from imagination so forgive the inaccuracies. As for the newspaper clipping, I chose something Sheldon and Penny of course. This is still a work in progress, I'm yet to add a text. I'm thinking of adding the headline: At Last! at the top and then the caption at the bottom will say something like Penny and Sheldon finally getting together. I'm yet to decide. Any input would be appreciated.
And I know, I'm sorry, I can't draw real people to save my life. that's why I'm still in school to learn. For now, I'm gonna stick to anime!
