it is astonishing how much a good sleep can cure one's ills.

i am not nearly as intrigued by the idea of a razor across my wrists (a bit of hyperbole and, i know, nothing to joke about but i am so eat it) as i was at 7 this morning.

for some reason i'm having a hard time formulating "good" sentences right now. probably some pre-shift work dread.

and, man, let me just throw this out there. knowledge isn't supposed to be something easy to attain or painless to live with. even the norse myths tell us that Odin hung for nine days, pierced by a spear and pinned to Yggdrasil in order to gain wisdom. he also plucked an eye from his face to offer Mimir so that he could drink from this well and learn the knowledge of runes. the point is that true wisdom takes a certain analysis which may result in painful realization that one would like to ignore.

which i suppose you could do.

but, please, don't
