Quick Update
Quick update...
I just got back from orientations for Phi Theta Kappa and they went pretty smooth. It looks like we're going to have a good turn out for new members. Anyway, after the orientations were finished, some officers including myself stuck around and talked about the International Convention coming up in Seattle. It turns out that the chapter advisor was really impressed with my public speaking skills throughout the orientations and suggested I run for INTERNATIONAL President! CRAZAY! Ok this might not mean anything to anyone else and if you're reading this you're like "so what" but it means a lot to me! She said I had charisma and I spoke so well in front of people that I just seem like a natural politician. It's weird because both of my parents are elected officials so I guess politics is just second nature for me. Anyway, along those same lines, she also asked if I was graduating in June. I was like "yea, why?" And she said that she wants me to try out for commencement speaker! She said that I will be getting a letter in the mail asking me to be the student representative at graduation and will speak in front of the entire graduating class and all of their friends and family! AHHH!!! haha I'm still deciding whether or not I should do it but I told my parents I was chosen and they really want me to do it. They were like "we're flying out there to see you speak!" NOOO!!! haha Naw, I probably will. It's such an honor! It's pretty much like being valedictorian. Cool huh!? I know!
Ok, I better be going now. Mucho trabajo de escuela. haha I need to learn spanish damnit! OH!! I almost forgot. I'm going to Tahoe next weekend with Matt and Skyler!!! SNOWBOARDING BAYBAY!! haha SEE YOU IN DA CLOUDS BBEEEEOOOTTTCCCHHH!!! haha
