It's a vegas show with honesty

Ok, so the original Heathfield quartet of Em, Kat, Steph and myself were reunited after two whole years of being weirdly segregated by college, work, illness and conflicting interests. Steph, being the reliable one she always was drove us down to Plymouth without any hairy incidents, thank Allah. We window-shopped, ate lunch in this pseudo-posh Italian restaurant where the hopelessly inept waiter (who sounded amusingly like Craig from Big Brother) looked at me blankly for 5 minutes when I asked for a pizza Quattro Stagioni, got wolf-whistled by about 6 heinous men and concluded that it really was a town a tiny bit too overpopulated by a pikey demographic. Perhaps most fun of all was the boat trip along the coast, which was waaay too overpriced but seeing Steph flirt with the attendant [Attendant: Ooooh, where’s my ice cream? Steph: Well you’re welcome to lick mine anyday!] was probably worth it. Just. I picked up a nifty bottle of Greengage Liqueur for Hayman’s birthday, which he’ll probably stash somewhere in his room and forget. I wish he didn’t despise me so.
Saw a girl and her boy piece with MY haircut, both of whom strangely enough looked so much better than myself (rats!). Even after resisting the urge to gorge on chips by the pier, I was baffled to find that I’d somehow managed to spend last Thursday’s 25 quid of wages on food and drink for the entire day. I can’t tell you how much I hate hate hate being skint and having the words “NEARING DESTITUTE, DON‘T BOTHER TO EMPLOY” etched across my big forehead.

I managed to some spend some time with Loz, Steve and Rob on Monday and Tuesday, which was neat although the group has been seriously depleted in numbers for quite some time now. Something I think we’re all hoping will be repaired once Sam, Hayman, Jay and Laura are back and Beer Fest gets underway next weekend. Shame certain people have seemed to conveniently forget that we’ll probably have disbanded for good in two month’s time and have not contributed anything to making the most of the time we have left. I really miss seeing Sally and Laura every day. Rosie, Sophie, Laura G and Luce have just invited me to the Perkin but I’ve run out of excuses and I’d really like to see them...which gives me half an hour at the most. Right now, I am so tired and drained of energy. My room’s a complete and hideous mess, I’ve so much to organise in terms of the house and far too many places to go and people to see. I wish I could buy myself some more time. But once again I’m on here, wondering why I still write with the eloquence of a twelve year old.
