And Liberty Needs to Get Over Herself, But What Else is New? - Today's Recap, 2/26/10
YAY! Quickie recap today! :-)
Wanna start with previews, because HOLY HELL Nu!Faith. Err...I don't like her. *sheepish* I shouldn't say that yet, actually, since she hasn't even been on the show, but just from the preview I felt all kinds of "Eh" about her. I'm wondering about a lot of things, like what her relationship with Luke and Noah is going to be, because young Faith loved Luke as her older brother, and we all know how Faith felt about Noah. :-) So I hope this new chick can keep up the rapport.
Also, Damian? What the hell are you doing, man? Please to remove head from ass any day now. :-P
Okay, so, today's episode. Liberty continues to prove to me that I am right in rolling my eyes at her every time she's on screen.
So Parker does this wonderful thing for her - namely, camera-phones hooked up to computers so the two of them can talk while she's in the hospital in Minnesota (Dusty set this all up for her, surprise surprise!) and all she's worried about is what she's going to look like when she starts getting really sick. I mean, yes every girl worries about her appearance but...THE GIRL'S GOT LEUKEMIA. I think she has bigger fish to fry at the moment, yeah? There are more pressing matters at hand to worry about, I feel!
Not only that, but...Parker's her EX-HUSBAND! You think he never noticed her morning breath? You think he went screaming from the room every time she woke up with bed head? I think not. SO GET OVER YOURSELF, LIBERTY. You're no beauty queen, and Parker doesn't give a flying rat's patoot anyhow!
Though I gotta say I'd be freaking out if my hair started coming out in clumps, too. But the difference between Liberty and me is that I would talk about my fears. I would have told Parker right then and there that I was completely freaked because my hair has started falling out. Then he would have comforted me and it would have been better. Gah. Is it okay if I kick Liberty in the shins really hard? 'Cause I want to like you wouldn't believe!
Anyway. Jack and Carly, and Dusty and Janet today. Oh man.
Dusty and Janet have totally won me over. Seriously, I'm falling in love with Dusty. He just keeps doing such sweet things and being so honest with Janet. ♥ He set the whole hospital thing up for Liberty, he came to check on them to make sure everything was going according to plan, he took Janet to her hotel room, he admitted he didn't want Janet to have a baby with Jack and that he was jealous, and he told Janet straight to her face that she's the only woman he wants. If this doesn't warrant a *swoon* from every woman on the planet, then I don't know what will!
God, Janet. Just be with him already. He's crazy about you!!! (And he's Dusty freaking Donovan! The George Clooney of ATWT!)
Same with Jack and Carly. Carly bumbles around Fashions after seeing Jack and Janet all smoochy in Old Town and ends up accidentally stealing a dress. LOL! Then she very suavely convinces Jack to help her out of it at home. *cough* Of course, they don't get very far before they're kissing passionately and forgetting about everything else until Jack has an attack of conscience and puts a stop to it.
Which then leads to Carly blurting that Janet slept with Dusty. HA!
I'm glad she said it. It perhaps wasn't the best time, situation, or y'know, sentiment to say anything, but Jack deserves to know the truth. And now he does.
And Carly's nightmare about Jack, Janet, and Jack Jr.? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I wish Drunk!Carly had been that much fun!! LMAO, for real, guys. I might have wanted Carly to stay an alcoholic if she had been that funny before.
And what the hell is Craig up to? Dirty dealings, my friends! Now he's planning on taking Parker's money to invest in Monte Carlo without Carly's permission (or awareness). Bad Craig! Go to your room!

And Carly's entertaining the notion of moving to New York. I'm taking bets on how long this urge for a sudden change of locale is going to last. Thoughts? (There's no way in HELL Jack is going to let Carly move!)
Oh yeah...and Dusty proposes to Janet next week? REALLY?! Um, Dusty...did you forget that she's already married...?
