And Mick Is James Stenbeck...Who Knew? Oh, Wait...We Did! - Today's Recap, 12/22/09
Okay, so...as far as Mick is concerned, I am giving us all HUGE pats on the back because we figured this out like, a bajillion years ago, and also, I'd like to say YUCK. I think Mick is even creepier now that we know he's actually James. Bleh!
It was pretty funny how it took a striptease for Barbara to finally be asking the "right questions", though! Haha. Let me undress in front of you and all shall be revealed, Mick sneers. HAHA. Poor Barbara. She looked like she'd just seen a ghost. Which she sort of did. HA.
But yeah, what's with this creepy thing with Ali now, though? You know how Soap Central (bane of my existence!) has that "Someone becomes a kidnap victim" spoiler? I'm thinking Mick somehow abducted her without her knowledge - and God knows what he did with her in that church - but she's now starting to remember everything through her dreams. And it looks like tomorrow we'll get to find out more.
And speaking of Ali....HOW FREAKING CUTE WAS CASEY WITH HER TODAY! OMG!
I love Billy's Casey. He's so fun and light-hearted and high-spirited and just so freaking cute! I loved the practical joke with the fake blood when he went to chop down the tree. That's so Casey. And I loved his "The blue spruce is an elusive catch." HAHA. And he was just so damn sweet to Ali, telling her that he would wait for her because she's "worth it". AWWWWW! And the mistletoe? Totally adorable. Too bad Ali ruined the moment. (Mistletoe kisses belong to the boys, anyway. No stealing!)
Also, did you hear Ali name-dropping Luke? Hehe. I would love to see Luke/Noah and Ali/Casey on an adventure in the woods together. A fun adventure, though...no serial killers allowed. :-P
Anyway, I fully enjoyed Casey and Ali today. They were so damn cute together. But Ali, girl...get your shit together! You're totally still in love with Casey, it's so obvious. And he adores you. Just go for it already!
AND! It looks as though Casey asks Ali to marry him in front of his WHOLE FAMILY at dinner?! Uh-oh. That does not look like a good situation for our hero. :-) Something tells me Ali's answer is not going to be anything that resembles "yes". Poor Casey.
And NutMeg continues today! Way to not take Paul's advice, Meg. He told you to keep your head down and your nose clean, no matter how hard it would be...and you basically did the opposite of that! How could you not know that leaping across the table to strangle Damian and Lily in the middle of your hearing would get you more time in the looney bin? Hello?
But then Paul broke her out! Haha. I say again: Paul Ryan, you are a good man. This is perhaps not the best thing to do, since somebody's gonna get caught somehow, but your intentions are good. And I know you want Eliza to have Meg with her for Christmas. I thought it was very funny how Paul and Meg had this very sweet heart-to-heart in the car together, and then he was like, "But you gotta hide your big-ass head so we can get out of here," and smashed her down into the seat. HAHAHA!
But Emily is on to you, my friend! Ten bucks says Emily's the one who finds Meg in the basement at Fairwinds. And Emily was totally upset that Paul couldn't go with her to her fertility appointment. :-( At least Ali was there.
And Damian...what more can I say about him? I love the character, and I knew he was gonna veer off the path of righteousness sooner or later, but this web he's entangled himself in is driving me nuts. He and Lily make me gag now, because of his infidelity (and my irrational annoyance with Lily, lol). UGH. I can't wait to see what the loophole is; what it is that Meg finally catches Damian on so that everything starts to unravel right before his eyes. Can't wait to see it! (Though I don't want Paolo to leave the show...:-/) There had better be some Luke action in on this whole thing, too. I want to see Luke's reaction to all of this.
And now Holden and Molly are in on it! YEAH! Holden's never trusted Damian, this we know. But now that he's going to help Molly prove Meg innocent, it's even better. Man...Damian better run for the hills when everything comes into the light. Holden, Lily, Meg, and Luke are gonna tear him a new one! Damian vs. Team Snyder: Who Will Win?! Haha.

Just wanted to say, though, that I'm not sure how many recaps I'll be able to get to for the rest of this week. I'm leaving NY tonight for my parents' house, tomorrow I won't be able to watch in real-time, and then, of course, the next two days are Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. :-) I'll definitely be watching the show, but I don't know if I'll be able to do the recaps. If I can, I promise I will. You guys know I love to gab about the show! :-D Just wanted to give you a heads-up. :-)
