Simon and Henry Team Up Against Brad, But I Don't Know If That's a Good or Bad Thing - Today's Recap

Okay, so. This whole Brad!Ghost thing? Was kinda interesting today, actually. FINALLY someone else besides Henry actually believes that Ghost!Brad exists. Now if only Simon didn't get arrested, and Katie started trusting her instincts more. *Sigh* But at least Henry doesn't look like a lunatic anymore.
Also, Katie...you should have just said, "Hey Margo, guess what? Simon's staying at my house!" because you totally weren't stealthy enough about your whole "What if I wrote a book about Simon?" conversation to Margo. Your sister's a COP. You don't think she's gonna smell something suspicious about that little exchange you two had at the station? *facepalm* Now Simon's in jail.
And while Brad was very funny today, I don't think was he's doing is right. He's reacting completely out of jealousy. As we saw later on in the episode today, Katie was super depressed that Simon wasn't with her anymore. I know it's not going to turn out into anything more than friendship between the two of them, but that's exactly what Katie needs right now. A friend. A really good friend. Someone who knows her very well and wants to help take care of her and the baby right now. A role which Simon was filling quite nicely. I think today was the first time Katie willingly left her house to go do something fun in town. So, Brad needs to get over himself and start thinking about what is best for Katie. If he truly loved her, he would do that. Even if it meant that Simon was in Katie's life.
And the stuffed bunny that Simon bought for Katie today? ADORABLE! I want one!
Okay, now. Let's talk about how FRICKING SHADY Mick was today! Gives me the shivers. First he blows up on Barbara like WHOA when she busted in on him trying to analyze the blood sample he took from Paul, and then when Ali admits that Paul asked her to keep an eye on Emily's treatments, he YET AGAIN blew his top. And then his nose started to bleed. Man, I'm telling you, I can't wait to find out what his deal is. I'm starting to not like him, though, because he kept freaking out on everyone today. Chill, man. You're not helping yourself!
And Barbara finds the JS ring! Is it me or did it look like Colleen got a hair cut? Very stylish, me likey! :-D
And okay, so Emily said today that she's looking to be a candidate for in-vitro. All right. That makes more sense to me now. So, in other words, I'm guessing she's going to have one of her eggs (or several) extracted from her ovaries (um, OW), have Paul fertilize them, and then have the fertilized egg(s) transferred back into her uterus. Okay, I just grossed myself out with all that. The images of needles and fertilization I had going through my mind just now are not something I want to talk about! :-P But, I'm thinking that's what Emily has in mind. Whew! I wasn't going crazy before - I just hadn't thought of this alternative. Clearly I am not up on all the technical ways a girl can get pregnant. :-) Thank you, wikipedia!
Now Casey/Maddie/Ali. I have to say, as one of the very few Cali fans out there, that they were absolutely adorable today, but I hate how Ali kept shooting him down. And her line about constantly having to remind Casey that he's with Maddie...well, shouldn't she think about why she has to keep doing that?! Argh. Just be together already.
I did feel bad for Maddie today, though. First Hunter accidentally beats the crap out of her at the office (clumsy Hunter *tsk tsk*), and then she breaks up with Casey later at Al's. It's weird for me, because there's one half of me that would have LOVED to see Casey and Maddie work out. Billy and Alex really worked well together, and I loved their dynamic. So it's a shame the relationship isn't going to work out. (But the Cali half of me is happy!) I'm very torn between these three characters. :-)
But at least Maddie has a cool job! She might be on a trial basis now, but I'm sure she'll do fine. (Unless this whole breakup with Casey is going to lead to her leaving Oakdale. Hopefully not.) And she got to spend a few minutes with Henry today! Yay. I love them!
And Hunter, I have to say, was funny today. I didn't like how he beat Maddie up (lol), but he was cool with Casey when he asked him if he was still into Alison. Remember when they used to be at each other's throats every time they saw one another? So yeah...this is a vast improvement! I'll take it!!!
Looks like tomorrow is the body-jumping with Henry and Brad! I'm going to keep my Righteous Brothers mp3 handy for that scene! If we're gonna rip off The Movie That Shall Not Be Named, we might as well do it right, right?! HAHAHAHAHA.
