Today's episode was so sweet! A lot sweeter than I expected it to be!
All right, let's start with poor Janet. She is a much better woman than I am, because I don't know if I'd be able to shove all of my feelings aside for very long, if I were her. She totally just flipped a switch on her feelings for the day. Which is great, because everyone wanted to have a happy Thanksgiving, but I'm telling you...she deserves props! Although her face when Jack walked onto the porch? Priceless. She looked like she'd seen a ghost, and I'm not talking about the Brad-kind!
Carly was pretty awesome today, too. It doesn't make it much better for Janet, but the fact that Carly made it a point to clarify what went on (or I should say, what didn't go on) with Jack was pretty damn cool. I'm so very glad she did that. Janet deserved that, I feel. Even if it doesn't really make it any better for her.
And now let's talk about crazy psycho Meg. She actually thought it would be a good idea to INVITE DAMIAN UP TO HER ROOM for some sexytiems WHILE HER ENTIRE FAMILY WAS IN THE HOUSE. Uhhh...? Rocket science...anyone...? At the head of her class, she is not. Honestly, Meg. Where did you park your brain?
Also, please to be listening to Holden when he tells you that Damian is a low-down dirty rotten scoundrel. (LOL. Okay, that's exaggerating a bit...) I'm telling you, Holden will never EVER trust Damian. I actually almost expected Holden to lay Damian out with his fist when Damian thanked him for having them over for dinner. HAHA! How hilarious would that have been? Holden ain't no stranger to flattening Damian out when he has to! Hehe.
And Jack! Oh, Jack. Thank God you're home, but what are you gonna do now? ARGH. Please PLEASE patch your marriage with Janet back up. Especially since one of the first things you told her was that you love her. Stick to it! Make it work, Liberty be damned!
And now the boys. ♥ Love that Luke stuck it to Noah. You go boy! Finally let him have it! I'm so glad he brought Noah food (hehe, Emma made him a plate with extra sweet potatoes because she knows he likes them! AWWWW! Noah's totally a Snyder now. :-)). And that speech Luke made, about being thankful that Noah was in his life every day? AGGHHH. My fangirl heart just about exploded out of my chest. I really like that Luke referenced the time when Noah was unconscious. There's no way Noah would know about that time unless Luke told him, and I'm so happy he did. And then sweet Noah came back! YAY! Also, if you watch, when Luke sits down on the bed next to him, Noah reaches out and puts his fingers on Luke's thigh. AWWWWWWW! Dear boys, I love you both so much!! So damn adorable! PS - Luke sitting outside the door waiting for Noah to finish eating was so fricking cute. Oh yeah...and the cider bit? With the fingers and the touching and the loving? GYARGHHH. I might pass out from all the squee.
So, is Noah back on the road to being more of the sweet, loving boy we all know he is? Here's hoping!
How cute was Craig's backwards Thanksgiving? Johnny was too adorable for words. And oh yes, I am so happy that Dusty had dinner at the farm! YAY! I wanted him to. And he looks so cute with Teri! C'mon, writers. Also, Dusty helping Ethan into his chair at the dinner table was so cute I could spit.
Katie and Margo were adorable today, too. I love that Margo's basically a disaster in the kitchen, but her whole family eats her food anyway. Hehe. I wish we could have actually seen Casey and Tom, though. That would have been nice.
Okay, I think I covered all my bases, right? :-) I am pleasantly surprised at how sweet today's episode was. I thought we were all going to be in for a ride! (See my recap for yesterday, lol. I thought everyone was going to hate on each other all day! LOL.) So glad I was wrong!
