Dating myself
As in, I'm letting everyone know how old I am, not going on a date with myself. ^_^ (That would be quite awkward, wouldn't it? I think I would need to talk to a professional if that ever happened. :-P)
Anyway, I was just on Van's facebook page, and in the little "Write something about yourself" box, Van has written: "if you be my bodyguard i can be your long lost pal." (Haha. Gotta love those non-caps with Van. :-))
That quote immediately brought me back to my childhood! You guys know the song, right? It's a Paul Simon song from 1986 (*ahem* I was four years old!) and the video had Chevy Chase in it. The two of them play instruments and dance and it's fun. I actually remember watching this video as a kid. Standing in my living room early in the morning, watching them dance and singing along with the song. Crazy!
So thanks, Van, for bringing me back to my childhood! (And it's his childhood, too, since Van's only a year older than me.)
And here's the vid, in case you haven't seen it! Give it a look - it's cute! Most likely even if you've never seen the video, you know the song. It's a classic. :-)
