Okay. Sheesh. What an incredibly frustrating episode for me! (Even though I enjoyed it.)
All right, first of all, today's Dumb Bitch award goes to Teri. Oh my. She's been in Oakdale for like, five seconds, and all of a sudden she's entitled to judgment calls on Dusty?! Oh, noooooo. I understand that she thinks the sun shines out of Ralph's ass, but that doesn't mean she's allowed to be mean to Dusty. I really wanted him to put her in her place, but being the classy Dusty that we all know and love, he obviously didn't. He just listened to her ramble on and on about how wonderful her uncle - who, by the way, was right in the middle of trying to kill Vienna and a pregnant Katie - is. Ugh. Teri. Somebody punch her in the face.
And normally I like Teri! I was totally with her when she was trying to help Liberty out. But today, man...you pick on my Dusty and I have an ISSUE with you! Especially when you're trying to defend your dumb uncle...who's a criminal and a gangster.
Anyway, keeping on with the frustration for me is this whole Henry debacle. Oh, Lord. If he had just said NO in the beginning to all the stupid money, all of this could have been avoided. (Of course, we'd be devoid of a storyline for Henry right now if he had done that, but...whatev. :-)) So now he's bonking Barbara while Vienna's lungs are being charred out by smoke, and a poor pregnant Katie is trying to haul them both out of the diner...ugh! Good thing Brad showed up in the nick of time. Moral of the story for Henry: JUST SAY NO.
And Brad today. Totally different kind of frustration for me...but he was just awesome. Totally overprotective of Katie, and talking about how everything means nothing to him without her and the baby...argh!! We know what's coming! Poor Katie. Poor baby who will never know its father. Poor Liberty. Poor Jack. Poor Snyders. And poor us, the viewers! Gyargh. Why, Austin?! Ack.
And Craig and Rosanna. All who saw this coming, say AYE! Of course Parker was going to catch them! Duh. Although, I can't say I really blame them for giving in to their feelings. First of all, they were once married. So these feelings really aren't new to them. Second of all, I have a feeling (and considering what happened last week, with Carly not having either Craig or Rosanna on her Approved Guest List) that Carly is going to tell the two of them to go piss up a rope when she gets back, regardless of their affair. Even if Craig and Rosanna had nothing going on, I still feel like Carly is going to tell Craig to pack his shit and leave (so to speak :-)). I kinda felt like Craig cared more about Carly than she did about Craig, anyway. So Craig deserves someone who's actually going to reciprocate those feelings, and apparently, Rosanna does. Or she's building up to it, anyway. I'm interested to see where this whole triangle-thingy with Craig, Rosanna, and Parker is going to lead. Should be a fun ride!
Bonnie looked different today. Her hair was different, or something. In all honesty, I don't really like Bonnie and Dusty together, but I think they're going to fall apart, anyway, so I guess it doesn't really matter. Ironically, I actually think that Dusty and Teri wouldn't make a bad pair...even though I'm angry at Teri right now. :-) Maybe after Dusty exposes Ralph for who he really is, and Teri's eyes are opened, she starts fawning over Dusty? I dunno. :-) Just a thought.
And Skanky!Barbara made her appearance today. Haha - when she was brushing her hair and talking to herself in the mirror, I just had to bust out laughing. So soapy and ridiculous, ya gotta love it. Mirror, mirror, on the wall... AHAHAHA. Silly Barbara.
And previews! Maeve's rockin' out a sexy new short 'do! All right. And Damian and Lily, while I love both of them, continue to get on my nerves. We all knew that Damian wasn't just going to back off this, right? We knew he was going to put up a fight. He's Damian Grimaldi, after all. Backing down is not in his nature. And honestly, I can't blame Holden for blowing Lily off, either. She was the one thing that got him through the whole kidnapping ordeal, and when he finally gets back, she's in Damian's arms. Whew. What a blow! And I've always liked the sweet dynamic between Maeve and Holden (not that I want them to be together). They just make really cute friends. :-D Tomorrow's ep looks like it's gonna be enjoyable! :-)
