1) What scene convinced you that Van truly is the bestest thing on daytime telly?
I agree with Honey on the coming-out scene. I have watched it so many times over and it never ceases to amaze me, especially the shaky breath that he takes before he says anything. So incredibly amazing. The scene that really drove it home for me, though, was the "Stupid, lying, son-of-a-bitch" scene with Damian, when he's screaming at him and shoving him and crying. That scene gives me chills. The other scenes that I am particularly fond of are the scenes between Van and Jake after the Ameera storyline, when Noah asks for a break. I love to hate (but love) that breakup scene, because it strikes such a chord with me. I've had those types of breakup arguments before, and how Van portrays what Luke is feeling is so dead-on realistic. I actually have a hard time watching that scene because of how it makes me feel. ^_^ Go Van!
2) What would you have done differently with the 'first time' episode, if anything?
Hehe. Well, if it had been up to me, and ATWT wasn't strictly daytime, it would have been moderately explicit. ^_^ Maybe just a step below QAF-descriptive. But, if we're talking daytime, I most likely would have included a snuggling scene afterward, with the two of them cuddled under a blanket together, just looking at each other. Just something small and super sweet. Honestly, I would have liked to see something equivalent to the Casey/Alison love scene, because that scene was done so tastefully and beautifully. Can't say I complain about Luke and Noah coming out of the shower together, though! Whew! *fans self*
3) Do you have a special theme song for Nuke?
The theme songs I mostly identify with Luke and Noah have all come from fan-made videos. ^_^ The first video of them I ever watched was Dirk Lover's "My Life Would Suck Without You", so that's the first one that comes to mind. But I also adore Aly & AJ's "Chemicals React", and Evermore's "Light Surrounding You" for them as well. These videos are three of my all-time favourites! <3
4) You get to write the next major plot arc; what are the boys in for this time?
I agree 110% with Honey on this...I want to see more of Noah's family!!! Poor Noah needs some good bloodties to be there to support and care for him. He needs his own family!
5) Halloween 2009, what are the boys wearing this year?
They should be superheroes! Like Batman or Superman or Spiderman or....okay, maybe that's more Van and Jake. ^_^ I dunno what Luke and Noah should be...I was fond of Luke's pirate last year. ^_^ Whatever they are, guaranteed it will be HOTT!
