"Did You Just Slap Me?!" - Today's Recap, 7/16/10
OMFG YOU GUYS.
If there's one thing to watch from today's episode, IT'S HENRY'S BEGINNING SCENES WITH VIENNA. He basically took the words out of my mouth and LET HER HAVE IT! Is Henry Coleman gonna have to choke a bitch?! :-P
He also hashed some things out with Katie (albeit in a yelling match, but whatever floats his boat :-P) and basically what they both said was this:
K: I LOST BRAD BECAUSE OF YOU!
H: AND I LOST BARBARA BECAUSE OF YOU!
G (AKA me :-P): SO THIS MAKES YOU EVEN, GUYS!!!
Am I right? I said it before. Now since they're even, they can forgive each other and be The Best Friends Evar and support one another and ALWAYS be honest in the future, no matter what. Y/Y?
And I guess today's scenes with Barbara were written on the day the writers decided to share in her LSD-laced chloroform glory, because...WOW.
Okay, I admit, at first, the whole "King Henry" thing was really hysterical. Then when everybody else (especially PAUL! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!) started showing up and being all nutso with Barbara, I was on the floor laughing. Katie's horrible British accent just added to it, too. HAHA.
But then it was kinda scary and really sad when Barbara went to kiss her "king" and ended up making out with Chuckles instead. :-( Actually...that was kinda funny, too. :-P
Oh, this crazy show. Where the hell did this come from.
But good news is that Will and Gwen are on the hunt for Barbara hardcore, and Henry's joining in (although he's taking to threatening Vienna before going to Margo, not that I blame him). Paul wants to help, too, and Emily...doesn't really care if Barbara never comes back. :-P I hope they find her soon, before Barbara goes completely Looney Tunes!
Also, I LOVED how Will stood up to Emily today. She was all, "Barbara can die in a fire," and he was like, "Bitch, I will put you OVER MY KNEE!" XD Loved it.
And MARGO! HELLO! We haven't seen Margo in AGES! Glad to see her. And now she has Barbara's cell phone, and Katie's going to help Margo in figuring out Barbara's last phone call (because it was to Vienna).
So with today's episode, my money's TOTALLY on Vienna. I don't think Emily or Katie did anything to Barbara besides verbally fight with her. I think Katie would have come clean about it today if she had, because she wouldn't have been able to keep hurting Henry by lying. And I just don't think Emily would bother at this point. I could be totally wrong, but...I'm betting on Vienna. Especially since she snapped, "I hope you're very happy with Barbara, IF you can find her!" at Henry before she stormed out of his room. That's basically a dead giveaway.
And next week: MEH! Whatevs. I posted the promo right before this entry...have a look-see if you'd like. :-)

In watching all the "King Henry" and "Barbara Boleyn" stuff today, I was rather reminded of one of Eddie Izzard's skits that he'd done on Henry VIII. It's from his "Dress to Kill" show, which is one of my favourites of his. I can practically quote this show verbatim.
