Sorry this is late!
So Dusty walks in to the Lakeview lobby all "Jaaaaaaaaaaames Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeean" to sit with Janet and discuss living in the hotel while the house is being painted, and Libby's as-yet-unposted grades. They flirty banter a bit over the fact that Janet has renounced her co-dependency on Liberty and is willing to let her graduate.
This whole post-grades-and-graduate-same-day thing is kinda bizarre o.O We never got our grades until like, July. But in any case, LibbyLu is "Class of 2010" according to Parker \o/
Gabriel meanwhile is living on Lily's couch and drinking her orange juice straight from the carton--literally on both counts. Faith comes out and bitches him out for it, and even though I'd do the same thing, Faith pisses me off so much that I want Gabriel to chug every liquid in the fridge. Faith's a racist or whatever, and Gabriel asks her about Parker/Libs.
Cut to Lucinda visiting Craig. Why? Uh...I don't know. I'm surprised she didn't ignore yesterday's message. Craig accuses her of brainwashing/manipulating Gabriel.
Jacking this scene is a new one at Carly's (GET IT? HAW HAW HAW). Jack and Carly apologize to each other, and Jack informs her that he asked Gabriel to undergo police questioning again, which she does not take well. Carly continues to bitch at Jack, this time worrying that Jack can't prove Parker innocent. Jack departs with Carly's begrudging blessing.
Janet receives a text from Liberty advising her to get changed so she can come to the graduation. Janet and Dusty share a smooch on their way out the door. <333333333 Janet and Liberty squee, and Janet thanks Parker for his help. Parker says he'd do anything for Liberty. <3333333333333333333333333 It turns out the principle has sprung a speech on Liberty...jeez, why don't you ask her to mow the field and clean the bleachers while she's at it? Sheesh.
Liberty invites Faith, which will probably turn out to be a bad idea. I mean, someone keeps inviting Faith into the show, and we're all seeing how that's turning out. >.> Gabriel and Faith, or as I like to call them, G and Bitch (not to be confused with G and Honey ^.~), begin to formulate Plan Let's Be Tools and Try to Break Up Parker and Liberty. Gabriel scores an invite, too. This is shaping up to be a complete clusterfuck, isn't it?
Carly comes over to borrow Gabriel. Keep him as long as you want, Carly.
Liberty decides to party with her classmates after the graduation and tells Parker that she invited Gabriel. Parker mentally prepares for the pissing contest that I believe shall ensue.
Craig and Lucinda continue their argument. Craig demands "What were you doing hanging around my son's room?", which is really bad taken out of context, especially with the previous talk of muzzling Lily. TROUBLING. Lucinda continues to deny, deny, deny.
Carly begs Gabriel to stick to his story, which he "Whatevers", and then blows her off for Liberty's party. Ok then? Fuck you too.
Teri comes to visit her graduating niece, and then Jacks sends Liberty flowers. Aw <333 You're a good man, Jack. :3 Dusty shows up with more flowers.
Craig and Lucinda threaten and banter some more--God, DO SOMETHING ALREADY. It's like today's scenes are just so TPTB can remind us that the characters are still there.
Dusty and Teri set Metro up for a party, and Teri asks Dusty how he feels about his current Janet situation, since she's hesitant to get re-engaged due to being pregnant with Jack's baby. Janet, meanwhile, is sharing a Lifetime moment with Liberty, who says she feels more like an adult than the kids in her class. Janet predicts smooth sailing from now on. Excuse me.
ahahahahahahaha
Ahem.
Carly tells Parker that Jack will not be going to the party with them, though he'll be there, and she won't tell Parker why. The reason is because Jack is grilling Gabriel at the station for lying about being hit by a paperweight, among other things. Gabriel however continues to say Craig tried to kill him.
Faith comes by Carly's to pick up Parker, and begins Operation Be a Tool. Gabriel comes over and tells Parker to keep Jack off his back.
EVUN MOAR LUCINDA/CRAIG THREATS. Craig says that Lily would do anything to assuage her guilt over keeping Gabriel from him. Lucinda makes fun of his SAT word.
Parker briefs Faith on the situation, and then off to the graduation! Carly condescends to compliment Janet on Liberty, which appears to bewilder the Janet, and then Carly grills Jack on Gabriel.
Wait, is Parker not graduating with Liberty? PS - That graduation is LAME. There's like ten people in the class.
Lucinda shows up at Lily's and bribes Gabriel to leave, and then threatens him. Gabriel pockets the money.
Liberty gives her graduation speech, talking about how full of drama her life is. You gotta love the show's brief moments of clarity XD. Liberty specifically thanks Parker for being her bestest good friend :3, and then Janet, and finally Brad. Dammit, show! Stop doing this to me ;_;
Craig fakes a heart attack and locks the prison guard in his cell. Thank you for having the decency to finally move the plot along, Craig.
At Metro, Jack toasts Janet for raising Liberty, while Carly looks askance, like so: >.> *still a bit of a Jacket fangirl XD* Janet returns the toast and adds a hug, while Dusty and Carly sulk. LOL Looking a bit green there, guys.
Gabriel shows at Liberty's party and Parker immediately jumps down his throat on how he (Gabriel) threatened him (Parker), and how Liberty deserves better than Gabriel. Mainly it's an excuse for them to start beating the crap out of each other. Go Parker! \o/ Teachers break up the fight and order Gabriel out. Liberty storms out; Parker tries to follow and Faith stops him, ostensibly to let Liberty cool off but really in order to facilitate Operation Toolishness.
Jack and Carly peace out of the party, leaving Janet and Dusty to dance. Dusty pulls out the ring and is about to re-propose when Parker barges in, telling Janet that he got in a fight at Liberty's party, and Liberty left with Gabriel. Janet rushes out to stop them from doing something stupid. Incidentally, the music on at the club as the same song that played when Katie went home for the first time after Brad died; it's just a different singer. DAMN YOU, SHOW! KNOCK IT OFF WITH THE BRAD STUFF OKAY? ;_; ;_;
Gabe and Libs are at Brad's grave, where Liberty cries about her rather sucky life at the moment. Gabriel apologizes and tells Liberty he's leaving; Liberty calls him out on lying about Craig, saying he doesn't realize how lucky he is to have his father still alive. Ok, Libs? Brad >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Craig. STFU, n00b. She challenges him to stay and tell the truth.
Jack and Carly settle into coffee and talk about how today was nice. A phone call interrupts; Janet is calling to tell him about Parker/Liberty/Gabriel; Jack and Carly leave to go find them.
Craig barges into Lucinda's office and threatens her...more, and hey, there are the previews, and th-th-th-th-th-th-th-th-th-that's all, folks!
