Okay, can you be my best friend? Or my twin? LOL. Because you said everything I'm thinking to in regards to Noah, Luke and Reid. I absolutely adore your devotion to Luke--I'm exactly that way. I'll stand by Luke through everything (even murder if it comes down to it but our Mr. Snyder wouldn't hurt a fly) and I think that's why I love Reid a lot too. He gets Luke; he understands why Luke does what he does; he's in love with who Luke is; and he wants some of that Luke love for himself--and who wouldn't? I know he's said some cold things to Luke in the past but honestly, if these 2 were a couple, I think Reid would always hear Luke out and try to understand him and then back him. Noah would do that too, methinks, BUT only after judging Luke and calling him out on whatever the matter is.
And that's my problem with Noah. (FYI--I will not hate Noah either.) Noah is too self-righteous (a junior Jack Snyder, if you will) and thinks things should happen a certain way because he thinks they're right. And he's imposed this mentality on Luke too many times (Noah thinks marrying Ameera isn't the worst idea; Noah thinks Luke wanting to win the election so bad is not cool; Noah thinks Luke is crazy to b obsessing over Reg's murder; Noah thinks Luke should give Damien a 2nd chance because Noah thinks it's best; Noah thinks Luke is wrong about Mason and is overreacting). And now Noah thinks he and Luke should re-unite because he thinks they should? But why did they break up in the first place, Noah? Why? And why didn't you believe Luke during the Mason debacle? Care to explain any of that clearly for us, Mr. Mayer?
Oh and I've agreed with you before about how Nuke is awesome at fights? Very dramatic but what does it mean if they're only good together when they're arguing? That doesn't bode well for a long-term couple, IMO. And yes, Noah can be upset because he still loves Luke but punching a guy out in front of others? Serioulsy, Noah?

I LOVE this description of Reid! Yes, yes, and YES! I totally agree. Reid doesn't have any past experiences clouding his judgment when it comes to Luke, so Luke was totally something fresh and new to him; something I think he liked but didn't realize he liked until he saw it right in front of him. Plus, it helped that Luke was just his adorable generous self and went to lengths to help Reid when he needed it, something that no one else (as far as we can gather) has ever done for Reid. I totally can't blame the doc for falling for Luke. Like you said, who wouldn't?
The Mason storyline really pissed me off as well, because Noah wouldn't listen to what Luke was trying to say to him. But...this is pretty normal relationship woes. :-P Communication is key, and you can't be perfect with it 100% of the time! And I do think, that even though Luke is technically the one who broke them up, that Noah was the one who initiated the steps toward the breakup. Don't get me wrong - I understood his desire for independence - but if Noah hadn't started pushing away first, there's no way in hell Luke would have started pulling away.
Meh. I'm half sad at everything and half super excited. It's a tornado of emotions every damn day! :-P
I see what you're saying about the boys' fights. I don't feel like they've only been good when they're fighting, but I did want to highlight that they're pretty much the only two people who actually make me enjoy them when they are. :-P But yes, constant fighting is not good.
I'm torn over Noah punching Reid, because half of me agrees with you that it was definitely the wrong time and place, and the other half realizes that Noah was supremely pissed off. I think he should have waited to punch Reid until they were clear of Dr. Hughes and Mona, becuase Noah basically undid everything he said to her by punching him. But then, Noah was really angry and probably wasn't planning on seeing Reid anytime soon after that, so he took his shot. You know what I mean? :-P
And thank you so much! I'm so glad you can relate to what I'm saying. We are the Luke lovers, it seems! ♥ I'd stand by him through murder, too. Thank goodness it won't ever come to that! I love that he's such a gentle soul. A lover, not a fighter (unless he has to, LOL!).

Again, perfect post. Thanks!
