Farewell to the Cock!
Woohoo! I just quit my job! No more 50-60 hour weeks at John Hancock, no more hours and hours of miserable commuting. No more... money. Well, not exactly. Just not nearly as much. I start my new job as a Special Education Assistant at North Elementary School in Londonderry on Monday. I will be making a third of my current pay... rough! But my favorite part is that it's only 4 miles away. Yay! I'm doing this so that I can return to school and get my Masters in Elementary Education and be a teacher. I could never go to school and work this life-consuming job at the same time. Besides, the new job will help me get my feet wet in a school setting and give me a couple years experience before I start teaching. Well, that's my long awaited update. :)
