Moving in several directions
Well, Mr. Edmund Marston did me the favor of getting my car inspected while I was at work. Very nice of him. Unfortunately when the garage said it needed some work, he gave the go ahead. So I ended up paying $90 more than I would have if I bought the parts myself and had my brother do it. Cest la vie, I am destined to be broke forever. That same day I got the news of my phone bill being $70. That sucked since I was expecting it to be like $15. Ok, so back to my car. It runs alright and looks decent for a $500 "antique." There's just one problem... apparently my wicked huge 5'3 stature is actually short. The steering wheel doesn't tilt, so I can't see over it. I have to sit on a pillow. I'm going to buy one of those kitchen chair cushions. I think that will be the most comfortable and look the least ridiculous. :)
More good stuff... I've got most of the stuff packed up and out of my dad's house and ready to be brought to Ted and my new room. Also, we went out and bought new curtains and bedding and accessories that I think will look kick ass. It's a very natural, relaxing, almost spa-type look. We're both super excited for Sunday night after Volta. That will be our first night staying over there. Speaking of Volta, I'm looking forward to that too. Ya ya ya, call me crazy. I'm not looking forward to a good game or anything, just having my whole team together (sans Loupe ::sniff::). Besides I haven't actually played Volta since last spring. Last event confliced with Ashbury, and before that was my bday. It's too bad this one conflicts with RH... though that does save me $$. Oh, and I have Hoover's wedding on Sunday, yay for him! That should be really fun too. Ok, meeting for work now.
