Labor Day Weekend
Well, due to classes being canceled on Friday and the first home game of the year being postponed I decided to make a trip home to Alva!!
I had a wonderful breakfast with Noah in the late morning and couldn't stop laughing with David and Betsy at the house.
When my mom said she wanted me to leave Gville asap, I definitely wasn't ready to leave, and noah didn't want me to either. haha.
the trip home was good, my first time being all alone. I made it in 3 hours and 30 minutes from my dorm door to my driveway ..stopping two different occasions.
I'm happy to be home and see my puppies and my mom, however I wish it wasn't such a bad weekend weather wise and that there wasn't a possibility of the hurricane hitting.
Driving through port charlotte and fort myers, it's still like a disaster area. Even in my neighborhood they haven't fully recovered from Charley.
Talking to my mom tonight, it turns out charley did more damage to our house then we thought. Lightning busted apart one of the corners to our house. My mom just so happened to go into one of our many closets and the back corner of it is seperated- like you can straight outside. Flooding caused one of our industrial sized airconditioners to stop working = death, now one side of the house is a shit load hotter, and some other stuff.
Hopefully we don't get anything from Frances.
I wanna go out shopping, grrr. Things better not be closed.
I wanna hear how everyone's doing in college... or to those of you guys back at FMHS haha. Hope everyone's having a good beginning to school.
